Getting labels and text right
Labels come out right most often when each one is short, quoted and placed. Five habits:
- Quote every label exactly as you want it printed, in English or Chinese.
- Keep labels to one to four words; put longer explanations in your post caption instead.
- Match the label count to the layout: five timeline nodes, four quadrants, three to five funnel levels.
- Name the position of the title and labels ("title at top", "label under each icon").
- Proofread every image, especially numbers and names, before you publish.
FAQ
Can AI make an infographic with accurate text? It can get short labels right when you quote every word, keep labels to a few words and limit how many there are. Always proofread the image before you publish it, and regenerate or edit if a word is wrong.
What layout should I use for a comparison infographic? Use a two-column row comparison (IG-004) for two options compared point by point, before/after (IG-011) for a change over time, and a four-quadrant matrix (IG-014) when you are sorting several items on two axes.
What size are the generated infographics? GenTidy generates infographics with Seedream 5.0 Lite at 2K, for 10 credits per image.
Can I use my own data in the infographic prompt? Yes. Write your numbers and labels into the prompt in double quotes. Keep the number of figures small and check every value on the finished image, because the model draws the numbers rather than calculating them.
